"It's a sign of how ridiculously politicized and nasty and just, you know, here's a suggestion: Just don't be a--holes," Cruz said. "Just treat each other as human beings. Have some degree, some modicum of respect."

Cruz told reporters that he originally planned to stay in Cancún until Saturday but that the "firestorm" he saw in response to the trip led him to return early. The Texas senator described the tropical vacation as "obviously a mistake."

or Trump-ism

Trumpism refers to the nontraditional political philosophy and approach espoused by Donald Trump and his supporters. The term Trumpism can also be used to directly refer to an outrageous or idiosyncratic statement made by Donald Trump.

Trump, whom many observers consider an anomaly, left the White House by saying, “We will be back in some form.” His legacy is “Trumpism” – a wave of white nationalism.

Trumpisms are Bushisms on steroids.
