Comments are Welcome
I'm interested in your feedback and love reading your comments, but there are a few rules to follow.

  • This blog isn’t responsible for comments, legally or otherwise.

  • Please do NOT put your email address in your comment itself. Spammers might use it for nefarious purposes.

  • Please leave your comment in a complete sentence. A complete sentence must have, at minimum, three things: a subject, verb, and an object.

A complete sentence must: begin with a capital letter, end with a punctuation mark (period, question mark, or exclamation point), and contain at least one main clause. A main clause includes an independent subject and verb to express a complete thought.

  • Comments expressed IN ALL CAPS will not be considered.

  • No spam. Who wants spam anywhere, except possibly in a sandwich?

Comments deemed to be spam will be deleted.

  • No foul language. No throwing around the f-bomb or other offensive language.

Comments containing language or concepts that could be deemed offensive will be deleted. This may include abusive, threatening, pornographic, offensive, misleading, or libelous language.

  • No derogatory or inflammatory comments. Constructive feedback and criticism are welcome, but smear tactics and mud-slinging are not acceptable. Please be respectful toward other contributors. Be civil to others and do not indulge in personal attacks.

Comments that attack an individual directly or harass other posters will be deleted.

  • No bots or anonymous (unknown) comments. Comments are only accepted from posters who identify themselves. The goal is to ensure real flesh and blood human beings are participating.

Anonymous (unknown) comments will be deleted.

  • No off-topic rants. I want to hear your views in a short, concise format.

  • No blog posts parading as comments. The objective of the comment section is to have a discussion, not to publish lectures!

  • No embedded links to another website. Including a link to relevant content is permitted, but comments should be relevant to the post topic.

  • No anchor text or keywords in commenter’s name. Comments are for participating in the conversation, not boosting your blog or web rankings.

  • No sales pitch. Your comment shouldn’t be a thinly veiled promotion.

Comments deemed to be solely promotional in nature will be deleted.

  • No affiliates. The comment section isn’t a place to leave links back to your affiliate program.

  • This blog reserves the right to edit, reject or delete any comments submitted without notice.

  • This comment policy is subject to change at any time.

  • Please use the contact form if you have any questions about this comments policy.
